  • Fiction and non-fiction books, large print books, DVDs, talking books (CDs and Playaways), a current and authoritative Reference collection – all searchable online through the Library Catalogue.
  • The Muskoka Collection – the library's resource for local history and genealogy.
  • Government publications – federal, provincial, district, and municipal resources.
  • Newspapers and magazines – including 100 years of Bracebridge newspapers on microfilm.
  • Electronic resources accessible through on site public access computers or from home or your own computer through the Library 24/7 page. These include:
    • subscriptions to full text journals and encyclopedias.
  • Multiple databases to help with assignments, consumer choices, car repair, medical questions and even searching your family history.
  • Computers and a printer for word processing, e-mail, and internet access – Public Internet Access.
  • Photocopier with the ability to scan to USB
  • E-books and audio books through The Ontario Library Service Download Centre (Overdrive & Overdrive Advantage)
  • Vertical files of clippings, pamphlets, and maps, arranged by subject which can only be consulted in the library.


Georgian College

A partnership between Georgian College and the Bracebridge Public Library provides students at the Muskoka Campus with a collection of material geared to meet course requirements. Georgian material can be located in the Bracebridge Public Library online catalogue.

Due to these partnerships, this material may be borrowed by those who hold a valid Bracebridge Public Library card as well.

Information & Digital Services staff will provide in-depth assistance to Georgian students.
