The Bracebridge Public Library has over 40,000 titles for you to enjoy. Our collection includes books, DVDs, magazines, cake pans, seeds and more! You can search our entire collection by going to our Library catalogue. If you are looking for a title that we do not have, you can make a purchase request or order it through interlibrary loan. Adult Collections

Our adult collection can be found on the first and second floors of the library. New titles, music CDs, audiobooks and large print books are all located on the first floor for easy access. You can find the rest of the collection on the second floor.

Special Collections

Cake Pan Collection

The Library has over 50 shaped cake pans you can borrow for free with your library card. All of our cake pans can be found (and put on hold) in our catalogue by searching for “cake pan.”

Daisy Readers

The Bracebridge Public Library has one Daisy Reader available for lending. Daisy Readers are used by individuals with low vision. Daisy Books are available from CELA (a partner of the CNIB). If you would like to try out a Daisy Reader before you purchase one, email us at info@braceridgelibrary.ca.

Kill A Watt Meters

If you are looking for more ways to go green, borrow a Kill-A-Watt Meter, courtesy of Lakeland Power. These handy tools measure how much electricity your appliances are using.

Ontario Parks Permit & Backpack

Borrow a Ontario Parks permit with your library card! The complimentary day-use permit allows access for 1 vehicle and its occupants to more than 100 provincial parks. The Library is lending the permit with a backpack that includes a compass, binoculars, a Peterson field guide, a Muskoka Trails map clip and a Ontario Parks guide. Seed Library

With the support of the Bracebridge Horticultural Society, the Bracebridge Public Library has started a Seed Library. Sign up at the desk to borrow seeds. Grow your seeds, then harvest, and return them at the end of the season. Click here for the Seed catalogue.
